Hey, So I'm having some issues adding Dropbox to the favorites in finder. I tried Finder - preferences, but it doesn't show up. Anyone have a clue on how to solve it? I've attached some screenshots of how it looks right now Thanks! The Finder in macOS is your gateway to all of the files, apps, and downloads on your Mac. Everything, from your Dropbox folders to your cool new desktop wallpaper, can be located in the Finder. You also have a lot of control over what the Finder will show you and how different parts of the Finder will work. To access your Dropbox folders now simply open up File Explorer and you'll see it in the side bar on the left. You'll only see folders and files you've chosen to sync, so don't be alarmed if it.
If you use the Dropbox app, you probably know that its files are, by default, stored on the Mac in what’s called your Home folder, and a shortcut to your Dropbox is usually added to the sidebar of the Finder.
By default, the Dropbox folder is located in your user folder on your computer’s hard drive. To go straight to the Dropbox folder’s default location, follow the instructions for your operating system below:
