Jul 18, 2019 SSH stands for Secure Shell and is an awesome way to authenticate yourself on remote servers (for example the Github server) without typing in a password everytime. SSH works via two keys, the Private Key and the Public Key. In terminal enter this command with your ssh file name pbcopy github account Go to Settings SSH and GPG keys New SSH key Enter title and paste the key from clipboard and save it.
